If you see an error message while product components are being installed, this could be because of unfinished or pending Windows System updates. Where Windows requires the updates to be finished, or there are too many updates on the "pending" list, this may interfere with installations present on the computer until you go though all system updates.

To resolve this issue go to your Control Panel, type "update" and select "Windows Update". Download and install all the updates from the list, especially those related to .NET, C++ and DirectX. Once you do this, restart your computer and run the installation again. Please be assured, doing so will not affect any data that is already installed, such as logins and the patient database.
